Here’s the info on howto use your wateen number on your softphone from anywhere in the world!
User name: 051800XXXX
Authorization User: 051800XXXX@wateen.com
Domain: wateen.com
Proxy: 58.27.240.22:9060
You can get the Wateen user name from support@wateen.com

You will need to ask Wateen Support for your SIP Login/Pass.

same is the case with you, PAP2 settings are not different from the ones i posted for softphone , but you’ll need to get the SIP user/pass first from support.

I was using x-lite just fine but since yesterday I am getting a registration error, request timed out.
Is anybody else getting the same sort of error.

Wateen proxy is not working and the softphone (x-lite) does not register anymore.

taichiman, the wateen ip proxy defined above is not accessible from anyother isp other than wateen itself. do u have an alternate

I guess i could not put-in my question correctly. I’m trying to connect my wateen number using xlite etc through a different medium i.e not through Wateen WiMax but using other ISPs for which earlier proxy was available but now it’s not working….

You cannot , they apparently have blocked outbound access to their IMS / SIP server.
